Traffic Circle Monument Damaged Again
For the second time in as many years, a driver has struck the monument at the Piney Orchard Parkway roundabout.
You may recall that last year, a driver failed to follow the road pattern at the traffic circle on Piney Orchard Parkway and , damaging it severely.
It appears that such an incident has happened again.
Reader Ray Milio forwarded me these photos of damage at the Piney Orchard roundabout. Once again, it appears that a driver went straight into the circle and damage the monument and sign.

Milio said the incident happened sometime around 1 a.m. Saturday. I'll be following up with the police to get more details on what happened.
