Truck Driver Dies After Vehicle Hits Tree: Police
A driver for Mike's Wholesale Bait Co. of Gambrills died after his truck hit a tree and overturned in Crofton.

CROFTON, MD — A truck driver died after his refrigerated truck went off the road Thursday on Crain Hwy (MD-3) southbound at McKnew Road in Crofton.
The 2013 Isuzu commercial refrigerated truck was southbound on MD-3 about 1:30 p.m. when it ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and turned over onto its side.
The driver -- Arthur Frederick Oldham, 52, of 5881 Stephen Reid Road in Huntingtown -- was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical, where he was later declared dead from his injuries, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

His body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office in Baltimore for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Investigators say the accident may be connected to a medical problem.

Neither speed nor alcohol appears involved on the part of the driver.
The truck is owned by Mike’s Wholesale Bait Co. of 801 Brandy Farms Lane in Gambrills.
