Two Suspects Charged in Brooklyn Park Robbery Spree
Baltimore residents have been charged with two robberies, and police are investigating a link to other area crimes.

Two Baltimore suspects have been charged with several counts of robbery for repeatedly targeting a liquor store and convenience store in Brooklyn Park.
Anne Arundel County Police have charged Phillip Thomas McGowans, 26, of 927 Jack St. in Baltimore, and Sandra Clara McClary, 25, of 826 Stoll St. in Baltimore, with multiple counts of armed robbery and related crimes.
Two Brooklyn Park businesses -- The Village Liquor at 720 Church St. and Spencer’s One Stop Convenience Store at 4300 Richie Hwy. -- have been repeatedly robbed this year.

Police searched the homes of McGowans and McClary on Sept. 5, and the two were arrested Sept. 8.
Authorities believe that McGowans and McClary robbed The Village Liquor Store July 25 and Aug. 11. Detectives suspect they may have committed other area robberies, including other holdups at Village Liquor.
