Village at Odenton Station Gets Finishing Touches

Construction is almost complete at the new apartment and retail complex, and new renters are moving in.

Construction work is wrapping up at Village at Odenton Station project, and new residents have been moving in there over the past month.

While the project near the MARC station is still waiting for finalized leases from restaurants and shops, the Dolben Cos. are starting to see interest from people looking to move into apartments there, officials said.

Property Manager Jilleien Franquelli is now working out of a new leasing center on the property. She said there have been 33 signed apartment leases out of a total of 235 units. Dolben began accepting leases in late April.

"It's been great to see it come to life and see the buildings come up, and how the [residents] are responding to it," Franquelli said.

The Village at Odenton Station features 13 different floor plans, with one- and two-bedroom units available. Base monthly rents range from $1,500 to $1,625 for one-bedroom units and $1,800 to $1,875 for two-bedroom apartments. On-site amenities include a clubhouse with kitchen, fireplace, computers and a pool table. The property offers valet waste disposal during the week and a dedicated parking lot and garage for residents. Residents also are permitted to use the pools at any of the Dolben-owned properties in Piney Orchard.

The property is currently offering two months of free rent to anyone who signs a lease by June 30. Department of Defense and military discounts are also available.

Some buildings in the complex have ground-floor retail space, which is still unoccupied.

Franquelli said there are some leases close to being finalized, but the company is not ready to announce the tenants. However, she said it is likely that retail tenants will begin moving in this year.

The property will have an open house for prospective residents on June 30, and also will have an open house for real estate agents on June 26.
