Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold In Odenton

One lucky person bought a winning Powerball ticket Dec. 14 worth $1 million at Rieve's Deli at 8374 Piney Orchard Parkway.

ODENTON, MD — One lucky Powerball player bought a ticket in Odenton worth $1 million Saturday. Because the Dec. 14 drawing didn't yield a jackpot winner, it grows to an estimated annuity value of $160 million, with an estimated cash value of $109 million, for the Dec. 18 drawing.

The $1 million winning ticket was sold at Rieve’s Deli at 8374 Piney Orchard Parkway. The ticket matched all five of the white balls that were drawn on Saturday, but missed out on winning the jackpot because it didn’t match the red Powerball number. The winning numbers were 3, 6, 12, 32, 64; the Powerball was 19.

The $1 million winner was one of 15,982 winning tickets sold in Maryland for the Dec. 14 drawing. There was also a third-tier winner of $50,000 and thousands of other winners ranging from $4 to $100.
