Woman Groped By Man Who Forced His Way Into Apartment
A Severna Park man faces sex offense charges after reported forcing his way into an Odenton apartment and groping a woman.
An Odenton woman who entered her apartment early Friday morning was groped by a man who then fled as she screamed, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Police were called about 4 a.m. Friday to the 500 block of Branch Line Road. The victim, a 24-year-old female from Odenton, said she was entering her apartment when the suspect approached her from behind, forced his way into her apartment and began groping and touching her.
The victim screamed and the suspect fled on foot. Officers searching the surrounding area located a man who matched the suspect description given by the victim. The woman positively identified the man as the suspect who had attacked her.

Suspect Kevin J. Belts, 43, of the 10 block of Truck House Road in Severna Park, was charged with first- and fourth- degree burglary, second-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree sex offense.
