Woman Robbed At Knifepoint In Hanover: Police

HANOVER, MD — A woman walking alone early Friday morning near Ridge Chapel Road and Teague Road in Hanover was robbed at knifepoint. Anne Arundel County Police say the woman was approached by a man with a knife who demanded her backpack.

The suspect went through the bag and stole the victim’s wallet before fleeing on foot. Several officers, including K-9 units, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. He was described as 6’ to 6’2, with a medium build, wearing all dark clothing.

Police say the woman was not hurt in the 2 a.m. encounter.
