Woman's Purse Grabbed at Knifepoint at Casino
A Glen Burnie man reportedly stole a woman's purse in the parking garage at Maryland Live Casino, police say.

HANOVER, MD — A Glen Burnie man faces charges for allegedly grabbing a woman’s purse in the parking garage at Maryland Live Casino.
The theft was reported about 4 a.m. Thursday to Anne Arundel County Police.
The victim told officers that a man – later identified as Kevin Michael Brown Jr., 32, from the 200 block of Margate Drive in Glen Burnie -- approached her with a knife and demanded her purse.

Brown allegedly took the purse, then fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle. Several police units searched the area and Brown was located at the 7-Eleven convenience store at Dorsey Road and Old Telegraph Road.
Brown was placed under arrest and taken to the Western District for processing. He was charged with robbery, assault-related charges.

The purse-snatching victim was not injured, police said.
