Worker Dies in Construction Accident at BWI Airport
Authorities have not released the name of the man, who was hit by a piece of paving equipment.

A worker died after he was struck by a piece of paving equipment at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
Airport Fire and Rescue Department crews were called at about 2 p.m. Monday for a report of a worker injured by a concrete paver vehicle, reports WBAL TV. The accident happened along Taxiway D, near the south side of the airport.
Authorities have not yet released the man’s name or hometown. He worked for Hi-Way Paving, a subcontractor on the project, reports the Capital-Gazette.

The victim was taken to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, where he was pronounced dead.
Maryland Transportation Authority Police will lead the investigation.
