Reisterstown Man Killed In Parking Lot Shooting: Police
Police have identified the man killed in a shooting Sunday morning near Owings Mills.
OWINGS MILLS, MD — A man killed in a shooting near Owings Mills Sunday morning was targeted, according to police.
Gary Printice Melvin, 30, of the unit block of Brookebury Drive in Reisterstown, was believed to have been targeted, investigators reported Monday.
Police said after 5 a.m., officers were called to a shooting in the 11000 block of Reisterstown Road and found one person who had been shot. Melvin was lying in the parking lot, according to authorities.

He died after being taken to a local hospital, according to authorities, who said the suspect had left before officers arrived.
Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-307-2020.
