10 Acres Burn In Soldiers Delight Brush Fire: BCFD
Firefighters were called to a nature area in Owings Mills where a brush fire broke out Tuesday night, officials said.
OWINGS MILLS, MD — A 10-acre brush fire drew firefighters to Soldiers Delight Tuesday in Owings Mills, according to officials.
Crews were dispatched at 5:40 p.m. to the natural area, located along Deer Park Road, for a large brush fire.
Before 7 p.m., the Baltimore County Fire Department reported firefighters were still in the area extinguishing hot spots. Officials said that about 10 acres burned.

Soldiers Delight is about 1,900 acres of grassland and savanna atop oceanic rock known as serpentine.
Nobody was injured in the Soldiers Delight fire, and there was no threat of extension, fire officials said.
