2- Alarm Apartment Fire In Woodlawn Displaces Tenants

Authorities said a residential building in Baltimore County burst into flames Saturday, requiring two hours for firefighters to control it.

WOODLAWN, MD — A two-alarm apartment fire in Woodlawn displaced the tenants of 12 residences there, according to Baltimore County public safety officials. Crews were dispatched at 2:05 p.m. to the fire, which was under control after 4 p.m. on Saturday, authorities reported.

Nobody was injured in the fire at the apartment building, located in the 2400 block of Bytham Court.

However, officials said a dozen units were deemed uninhabitable as a result of the fire.

Investigators have not yet identified the cause of the blaze.
