2 Charged in Reisterstown Homicide

After body was found in Reisterstown last December, Owings Mills man and Pikesville man are facing charges.

REISTERSTOWN, MD – Two people have been charged in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found by a pedestrian in Reisterstown over the winter, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Patrick Glynn Wallace, 19, of the unit block of Straw Hat Road in Owings Mills, had gotten into an argument with the victim and stabbed him multiple times in Owings Mills, police allege. He is charged with first-degree murder and is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail, according to officials.

Court records indicate the murder occurred on Dec. 5, 2015.

Police said that after the fatal stabbing, Wallace enlisted the assistance of David Levy Daniels, 20, of the 4500 block of Tapscott Road in Pikesville, to move the body to a wooded area. Daniels has been charged as an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and is also being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, according to officials.

The victim was identified as Jose Dela Cruz Esquivel, 56, of the 700 block of Grundy Street in Baltimore, police reported.

A pedestrian contacted police after finding the body on Dec. 9, 2015, in the area of Deacon Brook Circle at Glen Granite Road, officials previously said.

Wallace and Daniels are scheduled to appear for preliminary hearings on May 13 in Baltimore County District Court.
