2 Restaurants to Open at Boulevard College Center

OWINGS MILLS, MD – Two restaurants have signed leases at Boulevard College Center in Owings Mills, with plans to open by mid-summer, the leasing agent announced this week.

Bon Fresco and IHOP are the latest tenants for the shopping center located by Stevenson University, off Owings Mills Boulevard near the intersection of I-795 and Reisterstown Road.

The Owings Mills Bon Fresco will be the fourth location for the cafe that offers soups, deli sandwiches and salads. Other Bon Frescos are in Howard, Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties, according to a statement from David S. Brown, the leasing agent for Boulevard College Center.

IHOP will serve up breakfast all day long as well as lunch and dinner, in keeping with its tradition at more than 1,500 locations. Currently, the closest International House of Pancakes locations are in Randallstown and Cockeysville.

The two restaurants will bring "additional dining choices to Boulevard College Center that will inject new energy into the business community," Ken Bernstein, vice president of leasing for David S. Brown Enterprises, said in a statement. “Restaurants continue to be attracted to this section of the Owings Mills corridor based on current demographics and expected growth, as well the presence of Stevenson University and its diverse set of audiences."

Other tenants at Boulevard College Center include Bonefish Grill, Edo Sushi, Five Guys, Pie Five Pizza, Outback Steakhouse, Stone’s Cove Kitbar and Subway.

Bernstein said that the desire to avoid traffic along Reisterstown Road is driving interest in the Owings Mills Boulevard shopping center.

“With this section of Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills becoming increasingly clogged with traffic and difficult to maneuver, restaurants are looking for alternative sites away from this road but with access to the strong demographics,” Bernstein said. “Locations fronting Owings Mills Boulevard are among the primary beneficiaries of this trend.”

Boulevard College Center is located at 10995 Owings Mills Boulevard in Owings Mills.
