7 Owings Mills Area Eateries to Visit for Restaurant Week

Baltimore County Restaurant Week gives diners an incentive to dine out, with plenty of options in Owings Mills, Reisterstown and Glyndon.

Have you been meaning to try that one restaurant but need a little push? Baltimore County Restaurant Week encourages eating local by offering fixed-price menus from $15 to $35 for lunch and dinner.

The event runs from Friday, Jan. 20, to Saturday, Feb. 4. Cosponsors Baltimore County Tourism and the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce promote Baltimore County Restaurant Week to encourage diners to sample new establishments and return to familiar favorites.

There are seven restaurants participating in Owings Mills, Glyndon, Reisterstown and Pikesville (click the name for the special menu):

"January is a tough time for any business, but especially for restaurants," Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce CEO Keith Scott said in a segment on the business show Maryland Spotlight. "It's a slow time."

To spice things up, some restaurants offer new dishes just for restaurant week while others serve staples on multi-course menus.
