A “Step” in the Right Direction: Successful Step-Parenting

More and more adults are finding themselves in the role of stepparent, but aren’t quite sure what is expected of them by their spouse, their stepchildren, their own children and extended family.  The Jewish Community Services (JCS) Parent Discussion Series presents A Step in the Right Direction: Successful Stepparenting on Wednesday, April 30th, at 7:00pm at the JCS Owings Mills, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue (in the JCC).  Beth Land Hecht, LCSW-C will lead the discussion to help stepparents and their spouses explore the relationships, roles and boundaries in blended families.

The JCS Parent Discussion Series offers a variety of workshops to address the various challenges of parenthood from infancy to young adulthood.  Pre-registration is required for all workshops. For more information and registration, call 410-500-5371 or visit www.jcsbaltimore.org/parenting-series.
