72-Year-Old Woman Identified In Deadly Baltimore Co. Pedestrian Crash

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Wanda Grasu, a 72-year-old woman, was identified Wednesday in a fatal crash that occurred in the Owings Mills area.

Baltimore County Police said the collision happened Tuesday shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the Worthington Glen community.

Authorities said Grasu suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a 2021 Toyota Highlander near the intersection of Owings Mills Boulevard and Strawhill Court.

Early findings indicate the collision occurred as the vehicle was approaching Strawhill Court from the southbound lanes of Owings Mills Boulevard.

Grasu was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have not released additional details about the crash or detailed any possible charges against the driver.

An investigation into the case remains open.
