4 Hospitalized After Reisterstown Apartment Fire: Reports

Baltimore County officials said the two-alarm fire broke out after 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Several people were hospitalized and at least a dozen residents were displaced after a fire in Reisterstown Tuesday night, according to reports.

After 9 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an apartment fire in the 100 block of Caraway Road in Reisterstown, where Baltimore County public safety officials reported crews had requested additional personnel at 9:30 p.m.

Flames were β€œshooting through the roof” of the building, where firefighters had to rescue seven people before the blaze was declared under control at 9:51 p.m., according to WBAL.

One residentβ€”Cedric Baileyβ€”told WJZ that he caught a woman who jumped from the third floor.

In all, four people were hospitalized and 12 apartments were posted as uninhabitable as a result of the fire, The Baltimore Sun reported.
