Armed Carjacking In Owings Mills: Crime Blotter
Burglar going out the window, armed carjacking and more were reported recently in the Franklin precinct, according to police.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the Franklin precinct. Of note, there were four burglaries reported in the last week. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
A home was burglarized in the unit block of Softwinds Court. Jewelry, electronics, cash, clothing and more personal items were taken from the residence between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on March 12. The burglar got in by breaking a glass door.
An armed carjacking occurred in the 9400 block of Owings Heights Circle. Two people approached someone in a vehicle at 8:20 p.m. on March 11. One suspect showed a gun, and the pair took the vehicle from the victim.

One person has been arrested in a robbery that happened around 6 p.m. on March 9. The suspect, who knew the victim, forcefully took the victim's car keys in the 10300 block of Reisterstown Road and drove off in the car. The suspect was located and taken into custody.
An apartment was burglarized in the unit block of Brookebury Drive. The suspect took clothing and also left something behind for the resident to find: trash. The burglary happened between March 9 and March 11.

One person was arrested in a burglary in the 100 block of Enchanted Hills Road. The suspect damaged a lock in an attempt to get into the residence around 5:45 a.m. on March 9.
A burglary suspect was arrested following an incident in the unit block of West Chestnut Hill Lane. A resident came home and saw the person leaving the home through a window. The burglary happened at 1:40 p.m. on March 8.
