Armed Robbery at Popeyes: Owings Mills, Reisterstown Crime Blotter

Police said a robbery at community pool and a handful of residential burglaries were also reported.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents out of the Franklin precinct.

An armed robbery at Popeyes occurred at 10:04 a.m. in the 10100 block of Reisterstown Road. Three people went inside, demanded money, took cash and left in a vehicle.

A robber took a key fob from an individual in the 100 block of Campus Circle. The robbery also involved a physical assault. It occurred at 2:45 a.m.. on Sept. 7

Two youths and one adult followed a pair of individuals from the community pool to the front of a home. The suspects assaulted the two victims, robbing them of a cell phone, wallet and cash. The robbery occurred at 7:28 p.m. on Sept. 5 in the 400 block of Valley Meadow Circle. The suspects were later arrested.

A child’s bicycle was taken from an enclosed porch in the 400 block of Highmeadow Road at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 3.

The side door lock was jammed at a home in the 7200 block of Conewood Avenue. The burglary happened between Aug. 30 and Sept. 7.

Three people in a vehicle pulled up to a bicyclist, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded property. Nothing was taken in the robbery, reported at 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 30 on Lakeside Boulevard at Cascade Mills Drive.

Clothing, a musical instrument and other items were taken from a home in the unit block of Talfourd Court. The suspect vandalized the home and took the items between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2.
