Woman Killed, Child Injured In Randallstown Standoff [UPDATE]

Baltimore County Police who went to serve an arrest warrant in Randallstown encountered a woman reportedly armed with a gun.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — An armed woman was shot and killed by police after she barricaded herself in a residence on Sulky Court in Randallstown Monday, police said.

Baltimore County Police went to the address to serve an arrest warrant. Police first arrived at 9:25 a.m. Monday and learned the woman was armed and had a child with her, officials said on Twitter.

The child was treated at an area hospital for a gunshot wound.

WBAL reports the standoff is at the Carriage Hill Apartments in Randallstown.

At 2 p.m. police said via Twitter that the situation continues and there are no new developments.
