Attempted Murder Charge Filed In Gwynn Oak Shooting
The 60-year-old man charged in the shooting had an ongoing dispute with the victim, Baltimore County police reported.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a man has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a man near Gwynn Oak this week. He and the shooting victim had an ongoing dispute, according to authorities.
According to police, a 39-year-old man had been working outside a home in the 1900 block of Kernan Drive when he heard shots fired before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23.
When he turned to see what it was, officials reported he saw a man aiming a shotgun at him. As he tried to get away, police said he was shot once in the upper body. He was taken to an area hospital with an injury that was not believed to be life-threatening.

The victim had been working on the exterior of his girlfriend's house at the time of the shooting, according to WBAL, which reported witnesses helped identify the suspected gunman.
Charles Eric Parker, 60, of the 1900 block of Kernan Drive, was charged with multiple offenses, including attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault as well as weapons violations, including possessing a firearm with a felony conviction.

Parker was arrested in the Roland Park area at 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, according to police.
