Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the 200 block of Oberle Ave., in Essex, Sunday, Sept. 5, just after 9 a.m. When officers arrived, they found 59-year-old Dante Doles Sr. suffering from life-threatening injuries after being shot. Homicide detectives later identified the person responsible. The juvenile suspect is in custody charged as an adult.
