Reisterstown, MD, October 31, 2014: Kharismatic Kreations, LLC a full service custom printing company is partnering with Sarah’s Hope Shelter as a Youth Activities Volunteer. Sarah’s Hope is a United Way of Central Maryland Organization under the St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore umbrella providing immediate stabilization to homeless families. Now that we are in the month of November with Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, many of us will be filled with grateful hearts and the spirit of giving. As a Youth Service Volunteer, Kharismatic Kreations will assist the youth afflicted with homelessness, from planning arts and crafts to outdoor activities. Quick facts about homelessness:

· Families experiencing homelessness comprise 40% of the homeless population.

· Half of all women and children experiencing homelessness are fleeing abuse.

· Children experiencing homelessness change schools 7 or 8 times per year.

· Children experiencing homelessness are usually 2 or 3 years behind in school.

· The average age of a homeless individual is 9.

By serving as the Youth Activities Volunteer, Kharismatic Kreations is freeing up time for the women of Sarah’s Hope to attend enrichment classes that will help them pursue their dreams and create the life that they want for themselves and their children.
