Blizzard Watch for Maryland: National Weather Service
White-out conditions are possible in this weekend's snowstorm, National Weather Service reports.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard watch, effective Friday afternoon to Saturday night, for much of Maryland plus the District of Columbia and parts of Virginia.
Weather officials say a wintry mix is slated to start Friday evening, and it will transition to heavy snow and strong winds overnight into Saturday.
The forecast calls for a foot or more of snow, with the potential for white-out conditions.

Weather officials anticipate travel will be ”severely limited if not impossible” as the storm rolls through Friday night into Saturday.

- Calvert
- Carroll
- Charles
- Harford
