6-Year-Old Died After Being Hit By SUV In Reisterstown: Police
Police in Baltimore County said a 6-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries after being hit by a vehicle Saturday in Reisterstown.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — A boy died after being hit by an SUV in Reisterstown Saturday afternoon, according to police. The Baltimore County Police Department's crash team is investigating the collision that resulted in the death of the 6-year-old.
Marvin Steven Martinez, 6, had been standing on a curb with his mother in the 200 block of Highfalcon Road when he ran around the front of a parked car and into the travel lane Saturday afternoon, police said.
At approximately 3:18 p.m., Martinez was hit by the front corner of a passing Toyota 4Runner, according to officials. The driver remained at the scene and is not expected to be charged, police said.

Martinez, of the 6900 block of Millbrook Park Drive, was taken by Baltimore County medics to Sinai Hospital, officials said.
After he was stabilized, he was taken to the pediatric intensive care unit at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center, where police reported he later died.
