Adoption Fees Waived for Senior Dogs At Baltimore Humane Society

A sponsor has made it possible for three lucky senior dogs at Baltimore Humane Society to be adopted for free during the month of November!

The first three senior dogs adopted during November at Baltimore Humane Society will have all their adoption fees waived! Itโ€™s Adopt a Senior Pet Month and Baltimore Humane Society has been fortunate to have a sponsor who will pay for the first three seniors chosen for adoption. That means your entire adoption fee will be waived if you are among the first three applications for a senior dog.

Sadly, many of our seniors are often overlooked for younger dogs and cats.ย  Thatโ€™s a shame because seniors can make the best companions, needing much less exercise than a younger pet. They also come "ready-made" -- trained and housebroken. One such senior is Mason.ย  Mason is a nine-year-old male boxer mix. He's a gentle old soul who's been with us awhile.ย  His family was evicted and they were unable to take Mason with them. So this poor guy lost his home and family after all those years.ย  Come meet him and see what a great dog he is.ย

Adoption fees for all our seniors, age seven and up, are greatly reduced!ย  For cats the fee is only $25 and for dogs the fee is $100.ย ย  If you prefer to adopt a younger pet and you're a senior age 65 and over you are entitled to our Senior Discount of 50% off adoption fees.ย  (the two discounts cannot be combined.)ย  So hurry in and meet our mature friends.ย
