Aurora and Pep Are the Pets of the Week
Aurora and Pep are the Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society.
This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Aurora and Pep. Here's what they each have to say--
Aurora:ย ย
Hi there! My name is Aurora. I was brought to BHS because my owner was going to be evicted if she kept me. Can you imagine? A sweet little thing like me?! ย I have been here since May 2011, the dog thatโs been here the longest. Itโs probably because I like taking my time getting to know people. I'm a bit scared of men -- especially loud men -- and I may growl a little until I learn to trust you; please don't take it personally! I'd also like to be the queen of the castle so if you already have a dog or children, your home may not be the best fit for me. Iโve been working really hard on tricks like "sit," "shake," and more! I'd love to show them off for you. Letโs meet outside of the kennel where I can show you. My biggest hope is to find a forever home with someone who will be patient, calm, understanding, and love me as much as the staff here does! My name means "dawn;" let me light up your life! Please come and meet me to see what a sweet dog I really am!

Pep:ย ย
Hello. My name is Pep and I was originally adopted from BHS when I was just a kitten, but was brought back recently because I was not getting along with the other female cat. Apparently I was okay with the male cat and played with him, but I would scratch the female. Iโm not a fan of loud noises, but I really love scratching posts and cat beds fit to my size. Thanks for reading my profile and I hope to see you soon.ย
The adoption fee for Aurora is sponsored and free. Itโs $105 for Pep. Plus get a $5 off Hills Science Diet pet food coupon!
