This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Belle and Lori. Here's what they each have to say--
Belle:ย ย
Hi there. My name is Belle and this is my second time at BHS. I was adopted as a puppy, but my owner passed away recently and now I am back looking for another forever home. I have lots of energy and am very strong so Iโd like that you have me wear a harness when I go for walks. I have lived with dogs before, but I am pretty selective about which dogs I like. So if you have another dog weโll do dog intros to make sure that everyone gets along.ย I love to chew on nyla bones, play with stuffed animals and play tug of war!! Just remember that I need to be kept separate from the other dogs at those times because Iโm not very good at sharing. Because of my high energy and strength, it is suggested I go home with children who are at least 6 years old. A friend of my previous owner saysย I โam a great dog who enjoys attention and being a love bug.โ The only stipulation with me is that I am not the type of dog who would be good living in a home where the fencing has any type of electronic devices because I would probably run right through it. If you have an energetic household who can keep up with me, then please come and meet me soon!

Lori:ย ย
Hello! My name is Lori, and I was brought to BHS with my 6 kittens because we were found in someone's yard. I'm a sweet girl who enjoys laying on soft cat beds and being surrounded by stuffed animals or cat toys that have catnip in them. So far all I've really known are the frightening outdoors and cages. Now I would truly love to find my forever home with a great family. If you have room in your home and heart for me then please visit BHS soon to meet me! Itโs Black Cats are Lucky Month at BHS so my adoption fee is waived!
