Brooklyn and Knock Knock & Who's There Are the Pets of the Week

Brooklyn and Knock Knock & Who's There are the Pets of the Week

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Brooklyn and guinea pigs, Knock Knock and Whoโ€™s There. Here's what they each have to say--

Brooklyn:ย  ย

Hi there. My name is Brooklyn and Iโ€™m at BHS because my owner's daughter was very ill and he didnโ€™t have time to care for me. Iโ€™m a lovable girl who enjoys being with people. I have lived with children before and they loved me because I happily played with them.ย  Stuffed animals or squeaky toys are also a great time! I havenโ€™tย  lived with dogs so if you have one weโ€™ll do a dog intro to make sure we all get along. Cats, however, I donโ€™t get along with.ย  My skin was pretty bad when I first came hereย  so the vet has me on a prescription diet for sensitive skin. I may not need to stay on it forever, though, so if youโ€™re interested in me just ask the adoption counselors about it. If you would like to adopt a good family dog, then Iโ€™m your girl! Please come visit soon.

Hey there! Our names are Knock Knock & Who's There. We are guinea pigsย  who were brought to BHS after our owner developed allergies to us and didn't have much time for us anymore.ย  We did live with a cat in our previous home, although we didn't really interact with it much. We also lived with kids and are okay with them as long as they are gentle and go slow with us when trying to get us out of our cage. We have been buddies our whole lives and love being together, so it is a requirement that we be adopted together and housed in the same cage. If you are looking for 2 cute piggies to keep you company, come and check us out at the shelter!

The adoption fee for Brooklyn is $165, and $10 for Knock Knock and Whoโ€™s There. ย Plus get a $5 off Hills Science Diet pet food coupon! For more information visit www.bmorehumane.org ย
