Chunkamonk and Tanner are Looking For Homes
Chunkamonk and Tanner are this week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society.
This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Chunkamonk and Tanner. Here's what they each have to say--
Chunkamonnk:ย ย
Hello!! My name is Chunkamonk.ย I am a nine-month-old black Pit Bull Mix who was brought here from another rescue and am now living in a foster home getting one on one attention. I am having a great time at my new foster home meeting all kinds of new people and getting lots of love. I really enjoy going for walks and am good at walking on a leash (I know not to pull too much.)ย My foster family has lots of new toys for me to play with, which keeps me occupied when they're gone. I love giving kisses and snuggling and being the center of attention. I am also learning very quickly to go to the bathroom outside. I still have some accidents from time to time, but I know I will keep getting better as I get older. I really enjoy car rides and interacting with all of my new friends, but I sometimes get nervous around dogs that are larger than me. All in all, I am quite happy and learning what it takes to be part of a family and hope there is a family out there that will make me a permanent part of their lives.

Tanner:ย
Hello. My name is Tanner and I am a beautiful adult cat who was brought to BHS because my owner said I used my nails on too many things in his house. Scratching posts with catnip attached may be something that you consider for me, and some people buy harmless "soft paws"ย to put on cat's nails so we can't scratch things up.ย I like to play with furry mice and things like feathers that hang on my cage door. I also enjoy eating.ย In my previous home I peacefully co-existed with other cats, birds and dogs. I do enjoy attention and being rubbed, but Iโm not too big on being held, although I will tolerate it. Please visit me soon.
