FHS Musicians Ready to Strut Their Stuff

FHS Musical Coming Soon!

Mid-February tends to be a pretty slow time in both the music and education world. For musicians, it is halfway between the wealth of December gigs and the big summer tour and festival season. For students, it is the slow time between Winter and Spring Breaks.

Well, next weekend at Franklin High, we are offering up a break for the dullness of winter. Over 100 Franklin students and faculty have put together their talents to prepare "Once Upon a Mattress" as our school musical. For three nights (February 16, 17, and 18) the student performers from Franklin will entertain and delight audiences with this irreverant take on the fable of the Princess and the Pea.

Students involved have put in countless hours of rehearsal since the auditions began in mid-November. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of their labor, please come on out to the show.
