Fun, Unusual Ways to Share Valentine's Day
Three very unique, but loving ways to celebrate Valentine's Day with your sweetheart and family members.
Before sharing that romantic dinner for two, why not spend Valentine's Day attending a pet wedding at Baltimore Humane Society?ย For those of you who like to include kids or parents in this traditional day of shared love, this or the other ideas below will make it the Valentine's Day to remember.ย
Our Valentineโs Day nuptials will begin at 2 p.m. between Shiloh and Trixie, two of our bonded shelter resident dogs, and Otie and Geo, two of our bonded shelter resident cats.ย It is a celebration of hope, caring, and friendship in the lives of animals who have lost the love and support of their families, but who tirelessly search for it again.ย
Please join us in the Administration Building on our Baltimore Humane Society grounds at 1601 Nicodemus Road in Reisterstown.ย The event is free, but donations or a gift from the bridal registry are greatly appreciated.ย

Unique Valentine Gift:ย Donโt Give That Same Old Box of Chocolates and Flowersย
Tired of giving the same old box of chocolates and flowers to your Valentine? If he or she is an animal lover, here's a gift they'll adore!
Share your love with a homeless pet and become a Homeless Pet Sponsor. Your gift of affection can actually make a difference in the life of an animal when you purchase a Sponsorship with Baltimore Humane Society. Not only will you warm your Valentine's heart with your gesture, you'll also get the satisfaction of helping to care for a homeless pet.
You have your choice of sponsoring a dog, cat, or rabbit. With each sponsorship you receive a photo, thank you note, and your name displayed on the animal's space for the time period you select. Rabbit sponsorships are $20/week or $80/month, cats are $25/week or $100/month. Dogs are $50/week or $200/month.
What a beautiful way to express the spirit of this day of love and caring! For more information call 410-833-8848, ext. 212 or visit http://bmorehumane.org/donate/sponsorashelteranimal.
