Jessie and Marilyn Are the Pets of the Week
Jessie and Marilyn are the Pets of the Week.
This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Jessie and Marilyn. Here's what they each have to say--
Jessie:ย ย
Hi! I'm Jessie. My friends here call me "Momma Jess". That's because when I came into the shelter, I had a litter of puppies. They have all found forever homes, and now it's my turn! I am scared when I'm in my run, but once you take me out I'm a TOTAL sweet heart. I love to cuddle on the couch and give hugs and kisses. I'm a big mushy girl, and even let you paint my toe nails! I was surrendered because of landlord issues. I never actually lived with children but, in my previous home I had visitors ages 8 & 10 years old and was very happy to see them. If you have children, bring them in to meet me! I've never been around cats so if you have one, the staff will test to make sure Iโm okay with them. We would also do dog introductions if you have another dog to make sure everyone gets along. If you're interested in me, please ask a staff memberย so we can visit outside of my run. I hope to snuggle with you soon!

Hi there! My name is Marilyn, and I originally came to BHS back in 2007 after being thrown out of a car window. I thought I had found my forever home, but unfortunately was recently returned due to "landlord issues." I'm somewhat frightened and confused. This has been a big change for me, but I'm trying to adjust! When I am in my cage, you can pet me for maybe a few minutes before I let you know that I am done. I can be a pretty independent girl so if you've got a busy schedule, but still want a friend to share your life and love, I'm probably the one for you! Let me be your special someone to come home to at the end of a long day. Please stop by to meet me as soon as you can!
