Lucy and Raychel are the Pets of the Week

Lucy and Raychel are the Pets of the Week.

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Lucy and Raychel. Here's what they each have to say--

Lucy:ย  ย

Hi there! My name is Lucy, and I am a sweet girl who was brought to BHS with my housemate because our previous guardian lost his home and we had nowhere to go. For awhile I was forced to live outside.ย  I enjoy meeting new people and being the center of attention! Even though I came here with another dog, I can be "dog selective," so please keep that in mind if you have another dog in your home. Living with cats, however, is definitely out. I would not mind at all being the only companion animal in the home, because that means more for me -- more love, food, toys, and attention! I enjoy playing with tennis balls and rope toys, and what I love most are Nyla bones. I love to go for long walks, and am really looking forward to being in a warm, cozy home again. A safe and loving forever home is something I am craving, so hopefully you could be the one for me! Please stop by to meet me soon. I can't wait to begin our new life together!

Raychel:ย

Hello! My name is Raychel and I was brought to BHS by some people who trapped me in their neighborhood so that I could find a forever home. At nine years old, you may think I'm a bit on the "mature" side, but as a species who can live to 20 years old, I'm practically a spring chicken! I can be an independent woman with a strong personality, so I am not the type of cat who necessarily wants to be held or carried around. However, I would make a great companion to someone who wants to come home at the end of a long day to a warm, furry friend! Iโ€™m a senior so my adoption fee is half price!

The adoption fee is $165 for Lucy, and $52.50 (senior discount) for Raychel. Plus get a $5 off Hills Science Diet pet food coupon!
