Meet Smokey the Bear and Marigold

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Smokey the Bear and Marigold. Here's what they each have to say--

Smokey the Bear:   

Hi there. My name is Smokey the Bear and I am a handsome pitbull who was brought here from another shelter that had no room for me. BHS took me in so that nothing "bad" would happen to me. I have A LOT of energy and love to give kisses. I am very strong and enjoy going for walks...as long as you put a harness on me.  I am a big boy who would love to have all of the attention to myself from my new family instead of sharing it with another dog. Due to my size it would be best for me to go to a home where the children are at least 8 yrs old. I love tennis balls, rope toys and stuffed animals...oh yeah, and food:) If you are looking to add a sweet big boy to your family then please come visit me… I will be waiting.

Marigold: 

Hi, my name is Marigold and I'm looking for my forever home. The nice people at BHS took me in when someone found me wandering in a park. My previous owner probably could no longer care for me and thought that maybe I could survive on my own outside. We domestic rabbits require a lot of care and attention, though, and need to live indoors. I'm a little shy, but if you spend some time with me you'll find I'm a very nice girl.

The adoption fee for Smokey the Bear is $165, and $59 for Marigold. Plus get a free bag of starter food!
