Personal Ads for Dogs Hook Up Lifetime Companions

Finding true love is not easy, and Baltimore Humane Society, knows that the quest is no exception for homeless pets.  In its Find Your SoulMutt promotion, the no-kill shelter mimics the style of popular online dating sites to match homeless dogs with forever loving companions.  During the month of April any senior dog (7 years old and up) and any long-term shelter resident (6 months or longer) are free to adopt.

Just like in the classifieds, the Find Your SoulMutt Club members have their own unique personal ads designed to attract potential suitors.  Bug, an 11 year old beagle-dachshund mix describes herself as a senior female who can’t get enough heavy petting.  Because she is bonded to her younger sister, Bug warns that her love must be open to a threesome relationship because she and her sister are inseparable and she requires that you share your love with both of them. 

Then there’s Bishop, a sensitive low-key male who loves energetic morning walks and quiet sunset strolls.  Willow, a beautiful slender, freckled complexioned girl will smother you in love when you walk through the door each night.  And Rosie, pictured with butterfly wings in her profile photo, lets you know she’s a high energy girl who will fly into your life like a beautiful butterfly.  She also loves toys and thinks they can enhance the fun in relationships.  

Baltimore Humane Society is hoping that the Find Your SoulMutt promotion will help both humans and homeless dogs find their forever love.  The adoption fee is waived, but potential adopters must go through the usual application and adoption procedures.  If approved, their newly found love will come with all vaccinations up-to-date, spayed or neutered, and a microchip.
