Pet Trust Seminar Teaches How To Prevent Pets From Becoming Homeless

Learn how to protect your pets from becoming homeless if you become sick or pass away at a seminar Thursday morning at the Baltimore Humane Society.

Meet Gus and Rudy.ย  These two miniature dachshunds came to Baltimore Humane Society after their owner had a stroke and another shelter ran out of room.ย  Now they are left alone waiting for their forever home.ย  Unfortunately, Gus and Rudyโ€™s situation could have been much different if their owner had planned properly.ย

Could your pet find itself in the same frightening situation?ย

Youโ€™ve planned for your spouse. Youโ€™ve planned for your kids.ย  But what happens to your pet if you suddenly become sick or die?ย

For many of us our pets are beloved members of our families. We devote a big part of ourselves seeing that they are happy and healthy, but what will happen to your pet if you suddenly become ill or die?ย  Who will take care of your little friend?ย  Will they know what your petโ€™s needs are?ย

Sadly, we see many dogs and cats like Gus and Rudy who become homeless because their owner died or became too sick to manage their care.ย  Ensure that your best friend will be taken care of if something unforeseen happens to you.
