Pet Trust Seminar Teaches How To Prevent Pets From Becoming Homeless

Meet Gus and Rudy.  These two miniature dachshunds came to Baltimore Humane Society after their owner had a stroke and another shelter ran out of room.  Now they are left alone waiting for their forever home.  Unfortunately, Gus and Rudy’s situation could have been much different if their owner had planned properly.

For many of us our pets are beloved members of our families. We devote a big part of ourselves seeing that they are happy and healthy, but what will happen to your pet if you suddenly become ill or die?  Who will take care of your little friend?  Will they know what your pet’s needs are? 

Sadly, we see many dogs and cats like Gus and Rudy who become homeless because their owner died or became too sick to manage their care.  Ensure that your best friend will be taken care of if something unforeseen happens to you.
