Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society
Meet Fred and Ethel, a sweet "couple" looking to be adopted together. It's also 2 Fur 1 month -- bring home bonded feline couples together this month and pay only 1 adoption fee.
This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Fred and Ethel, a bonded couple.
Here's what they each have to say--
Fred:ย ย Hello. My name is Fred and I am a 6-year-old Beagle/Basset Hound Mix. I was brought to BHS (along with my wife Ethel) from another shelter that was closing. I am the sweetest dog ever and love people, dogs, cats, and my wife of course. I also love to go for long walks and play with stuffed animals...ripping them apart is totally fun!!! Ethel and I are a bonded pair which means we have to be adopted together. We would be perfect as family pets who can sit on the sofa with you at night and watch movies. We love being couch potatoes -- together:) I hope to see you soon.

Ethel: Hi there. My name is Ethel and I am a 10-year-old Beagle/Basset Hound Mix....Yep, I am a senior girl who was brought to BHS with my husband Fred because our shelter was closing down and we had nowhere to go. Fred and I are a bonded pair so that means we have to be adopted together. I am great with all people and love cats, dogs, bunnies and my husband, Fred. We are a very cute cou-ple who like to relax together....and we snore; I am louder than Fred.
I enjoy toys, but stuffed animals are my favorite because ripping out the stuffing is sooo fun:) If you are looking to add us to your family, please fill out an application first so that the adoption staff can talk to you about Fred's ordeal with having heartworms and the painful treatments he had to undergo to make him feel better. We would love to find a forever home that will love us and play with us and take us for long walks together. Come visit and give us a chance.
