This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Pluto and Sicily. Here's what they each have to say--
Pluto:ย ย
Hello! My name is Pluto. Once I thought I was in a forever home, but I was brought to BHS because my previous guardians moved away and didn't take me with them. Even so, I am an extremely happy, energetic and fun loving guy who enjoys people. I lived with young children in my previous home. I love them so much, I may try to jump or sit on them (whoops!), but just nicely tell me "no" and I will stop. Although I have a lot of energy, I am still a lap dog at heart. I would love to sit with my new family and watch TV together! My back left leg was broken at some point and because it was not fixed, I hold it up a lot. I may have been abused in a previous home, but we are not entirely sure. In any case, this does NOT slow me down at all.ย Iโve also been injured by a couple other dogs, so I am understandably "dog selective." If you have another dog, the staff can just schedule a meet-and-greet between us to see how we get along. Please consider adding me to your family! I truly believe I am a great family dog. Let me show you a lifetime of love that is out of this world!

Sicily:ย
Hi! My name is Sicily. I was brought to BHS with my sister, Simkah, because our previous guardian could no longer give us the care we deserve. I'm an independent girl who wouldn't really be considered a "lap cat," but Iโm very inquisitive and would make a lovely companion for you to come home to at the end of a long day! If you're looking for a special lady friend with whom to share your heart and home, please look no further! Stop by soon. I can't wait to meet you!ย
