Rosie and Frisko are the Pets of the Week

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Rosie and Frisko. Here's what they each have to say--

Rosie:   

Hi! My name is Rosie and I’m a 3 year old pit mix.  I was found running down a road all alone, and now I’m up for adoption! I'm an active girl with lots of energy. You may notice me in my kennel jumping up and down for hours… boing, boing! I adore playtime with all kinds of toys and lots of long walks, but I'll also lay on a couch or in your lap and settle in for a nap. Not much is known about my past, but so far the staff has learned that I can be okay with other dogs. So if you have a dog, the staff will schedule a meet-and-greet between us to see how we get along! I'm learning to get a handle on the whole "potty-training" thing, as well as how to respond to requests like "sit" and "down." I'd like to continue lessons with my new family. I'm an all-around sweet dog who may be good with children who are at least 12 years old due to my high level of activity.  If you have any, I'd love to meet them! I would really like to find a forever home filled with love and happiness. Could it be with you? Please stop by to meet me soon!

Frisko: 

Hi there! My name is Frisko and this is my second time at BHS. Back in 2008, I thought I had found my forever home, but I was returned because my previous adopters were getting divorced. Sadly I had no place to go. I don't seem to get along very well with other cats so please keep this in mind if you have another cat. That doesn’t mean I cannot go to a home with other cats; it only means that we may have to just tolerate each other. I'm an all-around sweet guy who is longing to make someone a great companion.
