Shayla and Maybelline Are the Pets of the Week
Shayla and Maybelline are the pets of the week.
This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Shayla and Maybelline. Here's what they each have to say--
Shayla:ย ย
Hello. My name is Shayla and I am a Hound Mix who was brought to BHS because of landlord issues in my previous home. I was very scared when I came here and it took some time, but I finally warmed up to one person, then another, and before you knew it I was a different dog. So it may take me some time to warm up to you at first, but don't let that alarm you. I came to BHS pretty skinny, but BHS is making sure Iโm fed well so I can get to my ideal weight. In my previous home I did live with dogs, but have never been around cats. I have taken part in play groups here and did very well with the dogs that I came in contact with. I enjoy going for walks and playing with toys, especially tennis balls and unstuffed animals. I am a super sweet young girl who just needs a loving forever home where I can feel safe and happy and spoiled. If you are looking to adopt a nice dog who is dog friendly, then please come to BHS and visit me. Thank you!

Hello. My name is Maybelline and I was brought to BHS with my three kittens because someone found us. We are all hoping to find a forever home soon, but itโs taking awhile. Iโm now a member of the Lonely Hearts Club for long term residents here. I am very sweet and like to be around people, so if you are looking for a social cat then I am the one for you. Please come meet me soon!
The adoption fee for Shayla is $165 and FREE for Maybelline because sheโs a long term resident.ย Plus get a free bag of starter food! ย
