Will The Presidential Debates Change Voters' Minds?
Election day is November 6th and our first presidential debate is this Wednesday. Are debates important and will you be watching?
This Wednesday night will be ther first of three presidential debates, but willย they really make a difference? At this point in the season are thereย really anyย voters who have not decided who they are going to vote for?
Both candidates had the opportunity to sell their ideas at their respective conventions, and most pundits say that the president actually benefitted more from his convention than Mitt Romney, but that's history now. Now, we are almost one month from Election Day and the reality is that the country is facing two wars and a sagging, but recovering economy. Is that enough to re-elect the President?
The Romney candidacy has its own problems, and it was recently rocked by the secret tape in which Romney characterized 47 percent of Americans as "victims." Will America elect a man who effectively has written off half of the country or will America re-elect a president with an unprecedented 8 percent unemployment rate? America has a tough choice to make on November 6th.

We have an incumbent president saddled with a bad economy and a challenger who some say is out of touch with the common folks. How will Americans decide which one of these men is up to the challenge, and will the debates factor into their decision?
My question is, have you made up your mind? Will you be watching the debates? Will the debates factor into your decision? Do you believe there are still undecided voters up for grabs? ย Do you believe that good debate performance by Mitt Romney could give his campaign a bounce? Which candidate has more to lose in these debates? Lastly, in this social media age, are televised debates the most effective way of communicating with the majority of Americans?
