Brandy and Melody Are the Pets of the Week

Brandy and Melody are the Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society.

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Brandy and Melody. Here's what they each have to say--

Brandy:ย  ย

Hello. I'm Brandy, a Chinese Shar-Pei and Labrador Retriever mix. I'm here because my owner was moving and couldnโ€™t take me with her. I am a sweet girl who may be a bit timid with you at first, but once I feel comfortable I will even give you my paw as if to say "we're friends." I like to go for long walks and play with stuffed animals. Even though I lived with a dog previously, if you already have one weโ€™ll do a dog intro to make sure everyone gets along. I am protective of my food while eating so itโ€™s suggested that I go home with kids who are at least 12 years old. Also, although electronic fencing is okay for some dogs, it is not the best thing for me so please keep this in mind if youโ€˜d like toย  adopt me. I am a beautiful lady looking for a safe and loving home. Do you have one for me?

Melody:ย

Hello! My name is Melody, and I was originally adopted back in 2008, but was returned because my family developed allergies I am a very nice girl, who warms up quickly and lets you pet me -- though Iโ€™m not big on being carried around! I have lived with other cats before, and currently live in one of the communal cat rooms here at BHS! I love it in here! Iโ€™ve never been around children before so Iโ€™m not sure how I would be with them, but if you have any please bring them with you so we all can meet. My favorite toy in my other home was a laser pointer, and I would be very happy if you got me one! I'm really hoping that this time around I can find my true forever home. Could it be with you? Please stop by to meet me! soon... I'll be waiting!
