REISTERSTOWN, MD — Police said the man hit by a vehicle in Reisterstown last week has been identified. Since the crash on Nov. 15, police said the man had not gained consciousness, and they had been unable to determine who he was. That changed Thursday night.

By 9 p.m. on Nov. 21, authorities reported they had determined who the man was and alerted his family that he was in the hospital.

According to authorities, the man had trying to cross Reisterstown Road at Caraway Road when he was hit by a vehicle before 9:30 p.m. on Friday. The vehicle and those in it stayed at the scene, officials said.
