CCBC Offering Casino Dealer Training in Owings Mills

Four open houses at CCBC in Owings Mills provide overview before classes start in February 2015.

For those looking to β€œget in the game” at area casinos, the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) in Owings Mills is offering a Casino Dealer Training program.

CCBC invites students interested in the program to attend one of these Casino Dealer Training open houses:

  • 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9
  • 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15
  • 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21
  • 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24

No pre registration for these is necessary.

Casino Dealer Training classes will start Monday, Feb. 2, at CCBC inΒ Owings Mills.

After a series of classes lasting between 6 and 10 weeks, students may earn the CCBC Casino Dealer Certificate.

Certifications are available in either poker or two of these categories, according to an announcement from CCBC: baccarat, blackjack, craps, pai gow poker, pai gow tiles and roulette.

Baltimore County residents are eligible for CCBC Continuing Education Opportunity Grants and other financial aid and payment options. Anyone can register for the program. Non-county residents will have increased fees.

The casino dealer training open houses will be in Room 502 at CCBC Owings Mills, 20300 Grand Central Station, Baltimore, MD 21117.
