Deer Park, Randallstown Elementary Honored by Dept. of Education

Deer Park and Randallstown Elementary Schools were two of seven Title I Baltimore County Schools named "reward schools" by the Maryland State Department of Education.

Deer Park and Randallstown Elementary schools, both Title I schools, were honored by the Maryland State Department of Education for improving student achievement.

The schools were named β€œHigh Performing Reward Schools” for meeting the state’s standard for racial and special services subgroups for two years in a row and having a 10 percent or less achievement gap between students in subgroups and the rest of the schools’ students.

Title I is a federal grant program that provides additional academic support and learning opportunities for students in low-income communities.
