Emergency Bridge Closure Announced in Owings Mills
Drivers may experience congestion on Crondall Lane due to detours around bridge over Gwynns Falls.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — A bridge in Owings Mills is closed Wednesday due to structural concerns. A reopening date has not yet been set for the structure, which crosses a tributary to the Gwynns Falls.
Spanning 23 feet, the bridge is located on Gwynnbrook Avenue between Owings Mills Boulevard and Garrison Forest Road. About 7,000 vehicles cross it each day, officials reported.
The structure was blocked to traffic after a series of recent inspections found that the bridge — built in 1920 and widened in the 1950s — was in a state of decline, according to Baltimore County officials.
