Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.-Upsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter: 2012 Mission Restoration-Free Community Economic and Health Fair

Theme of the event: MISSION RESTORATION: Restoring the Health and Wealth in our Community!

Goal of the event: This health and economic fair will provide relevant and timely information to the community as well as resources for fitness of the mind and the body: Increasing awareness of the health conditions such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease; and asthma management and prevention.  Increasing awareness and providing information to become a more informed home owner; providing assistance with foreclosure prevention; providing resources to families affected by the current economic crisis; and encouraging eco-living and buying green.

Commitment Statement: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is the oldest African American Greek-letter sorority established in America, celebrating 104 years of service to all mankind. The organization continues to empower communities through exemplary service initiatives and progressive programs.  The UEO graduate chapter in Baltimore County, chartered in 1994, is committed to serving the Baltimore County area through the execution of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s international program, Global Leadership through Timeless Service.
