Maryland Day is celebrated on March 25 when in 1634 settlers disembarked from two sailing ships the Ark and the Dove on to Maryland soil.
Thursday, March 24, 2011:
- Westminster, Maryland based Scott Richardson, graphic designer from Sublime Tiles, will show and sellMaryland Themed ceramic tiles from 2-3 p.m.
- Maryland Public Television will host a MPT community table and distribute various MPT materials from 2-7 pm
- Travis Light a student at Loyola Blakefield High School will feature color and black white photographic images of Maryland from 4-7 p.m.
- Black Eyed Susan Coffee Candy Cream & More will be featured on Maryland Public Television during a special interview at 7:30 p.m. during Your Money & Business.

Friday, March 25, 2011:
- The first 50 customers to spend $16.34 or more will receive a Maryland Stick Flag.
- 12:30 – 2:30 Photographer Barbara S. Oremland will feature photographs of Maryland Battlefields and Landmarks.
- Darlene Jones will host an art display and signing from 3-7 p.m. Her work to be featured includes both original oil paintings and limited edition prints and they focuses on Maryland Landmarks.

- 17-year-old Franklin High School student Annie Martin will host an art show and sale from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. featuring her abstract photographs of nature. In addition she will feature a few pieces of water color and acrylics on canvas.
- 2-4 p.m. local leather artist Joanie Posner will hand-bind leather journals.
All weekend long customers can enter to win a Maryland Prize Bag featuring a 3’x 5’ Maryland Flag and Maryland gifts.
